How long are your lessons?
Nearly all lessons are one hour with the exception of juniors under the age of 14 (45 mins). We have found that students need one hour in order to receive proper feedback from our instructors. Many teaching facilities only provide information about the swing in their lessons. Golf Lab insists on seeing initial swings, providing feedback to the student, and having time to see results within the time of the lesson. Proper instruction requires three things: initial breakdown, direction for improvement, and time to rehearse.
Do you offer group lessons?
Yes. Golf Lab offers a variety of group lessons in the forms of clinics or camps. Group lessons are great for students looking for a more relazed setting or the chance to learn with family or friends. All Golf Lab group lessons are designed to fit the intended group and are not routinely offered. Please contact us if you are interested or if you have any questions.
What should I bring to my first lesson?
We encourage all students to arrive as though they were playing golf. Golf Lab does not have a dress code. We also have demo clubs available to those who need to borrow clubs. We simply want you to be comfortable and ready to learn.
Can I just buy a practice membership?
Yes. We offer practice memberships to any Golf Lab student. Practice memberships include monthly practice time in our indoor simulator and short game facility. Appointments are required. Please view our "membership" page for pricing information.
Do you teach women, seniors, beginners?
Yes, yes, and yes. We have many women, senior, and beginner students. Golf Lab is great for anyone eager to learn more about golf and increase their enjoyment in the game.
Do I have to take my lessons indoors?
No. Golf Lab has both indoor and outdoor facilities. Our instructors, however, encourage students to begin in our indoor facility to initialize a relationship and a game plan for improvement.
Does Golf Lab custom fit golf clubs?
Yes. Golf Lab has relationships with all major manufacturers and provides completely unbiased professional club fitting services. None of our instructors have incentives towards a specific brand or company. We want to provide you with a golf club that both fits your swing and eye everytime.
Does Golf lab sell clubs?
Yes. Golf Lab offers a selection of putters, wedges, and woods on site. We can also custom order any golf club for no charge.
Are custom clubs more expensive?
It depends. Golf Lab does not charge a fee to custom order golf clubs. Many custom golf clubs, however, include unique shaft and head combinations that ARE more expensive compared to a "stock" golf club. All of our equipment prices meet the competitive standard.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer discounts in the forms of packages and memberships. You will find a greater discount in larger packages and/or memberships.
