Dr. Jon Rhodes

Dr. Jon Rhodes attended Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology. He earned a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado. He then furthered his education by earning a Masters of Business Administration from Troy State University with an emphasis on marketing. He will finish a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy this year. Dr. Rhodes is also certified with the Titleist Performance Institute to prescribe exercise to golfers.

Dr. Rhodes began working with golfers in his first job on the island of Kauai. Working for HealthSouth gave him the opportunity to work with the PGA tour stops in Hawaii. When he moved to back to Utah, he continued to work as vacation help for the LPGA tour therapists when they would make stops in the West.

For the last four years, Dr. Rhodes has worked with the Titleist Performance Institute as a Golf Fitness Instructor and as a contributing writer. His current clients include: Senior PGA tour golfer Bruce Summerhays; Brigham Young University men’s golf team; 2008 UGA co-players of the year Dan Horner and Nick Killpack; Members from the University of Utah men’s golf team; Members of Weber State University men’s and women’s golf teams; and many other top amateurs and professionals in the state.

Dr. Rhodes is also an adjunct professor with Weber State University where he teaches biomechanics and kinesiology. He is certified as a golf biomechanics instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute with an emphasis on 3-D technology.

Dr. Rhodes is an avid amateur golfer that competes in the state events each year. He has three wonderful kids and a very understanding wife. His family includes Tommy (8), Charlie (6), Elizabeth (2.5), and wife Angie of 14 years.
